Clayton Woodworks, Inc. was formed in early 2010 by Carl Robertson and Jeff Gaffney. We got our start fabricating casework and performing carpentry projects direct-to-client. As the recession began to fade in the Bay Area, we started executing whole-house interior trim-outs, subcontracting to general contractors.

A Green St. remodel for Plath and Co. in early 2011, a 10k square foot Sonoma Valley estate for a prominent local winemaker that autumn.

During 2012 Clayton Woodworks completed two large projects simultaneously in Hillsborough and Mill Valley, for Jetton Construction, Inc. of Berkeley.

In the past three years CWI has expanded on this business model, increasing our crew size and roster of General Contractors, roughly doubling volume each year.

Clayton Woodworks offers interior and exterior finish carpentry, door and window installation, casework installation, ornamental plaster installation, and landscape woodwork.
